The Strand Theatre Presents: Summertime in the River City

Continue the summer celebration of freedom, fun, family, and friends with one of the Two Great Events planned. On Sunday, July 27, there will be an "encore" of Summertime in the River City at The Strand Theatre, 717 Clay Street, Vicksburg, Miss. This showcase of artistic talents - past and present - with Vicksburg roots will amaze you. A special emphasis will be given to Black musicals produced during the Golden Age of American Theatre. Seating at the theatre is limited, so act now if you want to witness some dynamic artist. We will announce the lineup soon, but one sneak preview is that the featured band is Element of Art.
